Series – Quotes that shape

on

Quotes are quotes and most of the time they go by without an reflection. Now, there are some that really stick with you and even affects you to change… I must confess, I tend to forget and if I write them down the doc tend to get lost… So I decided to start a series on just this topic – purely selfishly to remember and have a central place for new once found. You never know it might inspire someone. Enjoy.

#1 – This one has been with me since 1996
It all started in a project at school (Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale) where we where asked to create a poster design on two criteria – pick a non-profit org. and a quote that mean something to you and make them work together. And so I did… I found this quote from an American essayist, philosopher, poet – Ralph Waldo Emerson“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” and picked The National Geographic Society and made this:

Comments are welcome! (just remember that this was made why back then 😉
(More quote by Ralph here.)

This one felt really relevant at the time – with the internet starting – and still do – with the internet evolving – so it is still around in the back of my head. Now let’s go make some trails…
