Quotes are quotes and most of the time they go by without an reflection. Now, there are some that really stick with you and even affects you to change… I must confess, I tend to forget and if I write them down the doc tend to get lost… So I decided to start a series on just this topic – purely selfishly to remember and have a central place for new once found. You never know it might inspire someone. Enjoy.
#1 – This one has been with me since 1996
It all started in a project at school (Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale) where we where asked to create a poster design on two criteria – pick a non-profit org. and a quote that mean something to you and make them work together. And so I did… I found this quote from an American essayist, philosopher, poet – Ralph Waldo Emerson – “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” and picked The National Geographic Society and made this:

This one felt really relevant at the time – with the internet starting – and still do – with the internet evolving – so it is still around in the back of my head. Now let’s go make some trails…
